Wait, graphic design from a pet photographer?!?

That's right! Let me elaborate... 

My formal education is in graphic design, and that is the field I began my creative career in. While I was in high school (an embarrassing number of years ago) I started working at a local print shop and my love of graphic design was born. After college, I moved through a variety of local design firms,  landing at Bradshaw Advertising where I served as creative director for 10+ years. When I left there to run UTurn Studios full time, I still kept working as a freelance designer to keep in touch with that part of my career – as much as I love photography, I couldn't imagine my work life without graphic art.

Over the years, I have worked with a wide variety of clients across many industries from agricultural equipment to tourism and nearly everything in between. I am focused, motivated and have a proven track record of successful long term client relationships. I serve clients based in the Springfield, Missouri area and also welcome remote work from other markets.
